Synopsis: A five-story hotel located on a very tight project site on Smallman St. in Pittsburgh, PA

Our Scope:

• Five stories of prefabricated load-bearing exterior and interior wall panels
• CFS design for bearing wall framing with pre-installed sheathing
• Intensive delivery and logistics coordination between Shrock Engineering, Shrock Prefab, and the installing contractor
• Limited site access provided an installation challenge. A tight project schedule with a metal deck and concrete composite floor system created the need for a seamless and expedient wall erection. As soon as the concrete had sufficient compressive strength, wall panels were waiting onsite to be set
