Scott's View Apartments

Synopsis:  Two separate apartment buildings on one tight project site in downtown Richmond, VA. One seven story building and one 8 story building comprising nearly 30,000 LF of wall panels!

Our Scope:

• Fifteen total stories of prefabricated load-bearing exterior and interior wall panels.
• 30,000 LF of load-bearing walls.
• CFS engineered shop drawings
• Exterior wall cladding utilized a fire retardant board
• A tight project site and a huge amount of load-bearing walls create a challenge for logistics and manufacturing for obvious reasons. Shrock prefab added a second layer of exterior grade flame block board in order to meet stringent fire ratings due to adjacent building proximities.
